When the paths of our mind and dreams met the wild, almost original beauty of the specific landscape, we were almost immediately sure of what exactly we would build. The Portitsa gorge in the Grevena Cave, built in the year 1743, was not only the inspiration but also the driving force for the entire team of collaborators to build piece by piece this inspirational bridal styled shoot that focused on the majesty and majesty of female nature.

The steep rocks of the canyon projected like a film the eerie shadows created by the sun playing with the untouched vegetation. Dominant sound and their connecting link, the river.

In such an environment, our own human intervention had only one way to go. It was that of refined styling, which exuded luxury without screaming ostentatious. The complete harmony with the imposing lines of the landscape were undertaken to realize excellent elements of elegant, vintage, boho chic, leading us to an eclectic styling as a whole, while the colors we used, following the dictates of water and rocks, were dusty blue, light grey, light peach and white in combination with the material of gold.

The photography is divided into the boudoir and the bridal part. In the first piece there is the warm and atmospheric impression of the preparation until the meeting of the couple. With a semi-transparent maxi dress and a bodysuit inside, the girl sitting in a vintage armchair reads her lover’s letter, prepares herself through his words, waits, measuring time and space, expresses her loneliness and waiting until squishing them.

For the bridal part, the bride in an elegant wedding dress consisting of a silk muslin skirt embroidered with lace and a bodice made of tulle embroidered with French lace, pearls and crystals, is photographed inside a floor circular arch next to the river with the canyon as a background. Half the arch of this arch is formed with cascading floral arrangements and the other half with fine candles. At this point we used the four elements of nature, water, earth, fire and air, magically highlighting the bride in the center. The primordial elements of nature merge into an image with the primordial feelings of passion and love.

Then follows the meal for two in the form of a sweet brunch which was placed in a floating structure we created in one arch of the double-arched bridge, creating a warm shelter for the couple like a small cave. The arch was decorated with an impressive macramé construction, offering a stronger feeling of the isolation of the two but also underlining the fragility and complexity of sharing love between two people. . For the table setting, elegant elements were used in combination with minimal elements with unpretentious styling. Plates with a stone effect, scattered small bottles with flowers, napkins embroidered with macramé elements and gold details were combined together to welcome fresh fruit, pancakes and sweet tarts.

The extraordinary natural landscape also inspired the creation of the Stationery. Natural handmade papers with calligraphic writing were used and the colors corresponding to those of the rocks of the canyon were rendered with water color elements. Special handmade ceramic elements were used to complete this natural effect.

Passion and inspiration and all this obeying the dictates of the beauty of the gorge. The Eden that hosted the first couple has never been lost. It was torn to pieces perhaps by running away from it, but it was not lost. Pieces exist within us and in nature around us. With our photo shoot, we combined some of them and ended up with a perfect technical and intense emotional result.
